महाराजा नामक यात्री बस रामगढ़ से धनबाद जा रही थी। रामगढ़ बोकारो मार्ग NH-23 मुरुबन्दा गाँव के समीप सुबह आठ बजे मूसलाधार बारिश के बीच बस और वैगन आर कार में जोरदार टक्कर होने से दोनों गाड़ियों में लगी भीषण आग, हादसें में कार में सवार 5 लोगों की जिंदा जलने से हुई मौत। वे सभी बिहार के थे, वहीं बस में दर्जनों यात्री हुए घायल।
घटना की सूचना पाकर रजरप्पा थाना प्रभारी इंस्पेक्टर विपिन कुमार दल-बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंच गए। धू-धू कर जलते बस में लगी आग पर काबू पाने के लिए रामगढ़ से दमकल टीम को बुलाया गया है। 9.15 बजे तक दमकल वहां नहीं पहुंची थी। घटनास्थल पर सैकड़ों लोगों की भीड़ जमी हुई है।
