Pakistan Vs Australia 1st T20I Live Cricket Score: Hello and welcome to our live coverage of PAK vs AUS Live 1st T20I match from Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. After winning the ODI series 2-1, hosts Pakistan would like to end the mega multi-format series on a high with a win in the one-off T20Is. Whereas Australia will miss many big stars in T20I which was there in ODI series as well.
Babar Azam proved why he is the world’s top ODI batsman with back-to-back hundreds to help Pakistan win a 50-over series over the weekend and he is just as deadly in the shorter version of the game
Azam’s 276 runs in three matches, combined with opener Imam-ul-Haq’s 298, helped Pakistan win the series 2-1, including chasing a record 349 in the second game.
“We were on the receiving end of some great innings from Babar and Imam,” said Australia captain Aaron Finch.
“Pakistan has always been a handful in its circumstances,” he said.
“Babar Azam has done incredibly well in the ODI series to make it really difficult for us.”
Injured Australia will field only three players from the team that defeated Pakistan in the semi-finals of the Twenty20 World Cup in Dubai last year.
Australia won the title, with Mitchell Marsh playing a starring role in the final against New Zealand. The all-rounder has been injured this time.
After winning 12 of their 22 Twenty20 matches against the tourists, Pakistan have the lead in the overall results. One match ended in a tie and one ended with no result.
McDonald backed skipper Finch to return to form after back-to-back ducks in the last two ODIs, after just 23 in the first.
“They have the ability to work through these patches,” McDonald said.
“Do we think he’s still good enough to play at this level? 100 percent yes and it’s as easy as it gets for us.”
McDonald’s said spinner Ashton Agar and reserve wicketkeeper Josh Inglis should be available for selection after missing the ODI series after testing positive for Covid.
The only T20I between Pakistan (PAK) and Australia (AUS) is scheduled to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday.
After a disappointing defeat in the Test series, Pakistan restored some of the lost glory with an ODI series win against a lost Australian unit. However, the visitors would be keen to end the tour on a high with a win today. But against the team of Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi, Australia will start as the underdogs. However, the current T20 world champions have a lot of quality in their team to make for a great game of cricket in Lahore.
 Pitch report
A good batting pitch is expected at the Gaddafi Stadium with offers of help for both the fast bowlers and the spinners. Although the fast bowlers should move the ball around in the early stages, the batsmen will enjoy sliding the ball over the bat in the light. As the match progresses, the spinners should get some turn from the surface, as well as the fast bowlers, going back to slower deliveries and back-of-the-length deliveries. Both the teams will try to chase after winning the toss, with a good score of 170 at the venue.

Mohammad Rizwan: Mohammad Rizwan didn’t have the best of times in the ODI series but would love to return to the top order in the T20I format. Rizwan has been in excellent form over the years in the shortest format, even winning the Player of the Series award in PSL 2022. Considering his knack for scoring big runs, Rizwan should be in your PAK vs AUS Dream11 fantasy team. ,
Batter
Ben McDermott: Like Rizwan, Ben McDermott also impressed in franchise cricket, winning himself the Player of the Tournament award in BBL 2021-22. McDermott is a prolific player of both pace and spin, even scoring a century in ODI series. With the top-order batsman in good form, he is worth a watch in this game.
 All rounder
Marcus Stoinis: Marcus Stoinis is one of the best all-rounders in the game, whose batting skills are of a high order. He provides the much needed balance to the Australian unit and considering his experience in this format, Stoinis should be a great addition to your PAK vs AUS Dream11 fantasy team.
Bowler
Shaheen Afridi: Shaheen Afridi was in good form in the ODI series, taking six wickets in just two matches. The left-hander who has a good record at the Gaddafi Stadium is his ability to swing the ball in this game. With the conditions suited to his bowling style, Afridi should pick up a wicket or two today.
